FAQs
What is permanent jewelry?
Permanent jewelry is a fun way to create a custom jewelry piece that is perfect for everyday wear. In this process, you will first choose a chain, then we custom fit it to your wrist, and then we weld it closed with a tiny jump ring. This makes the closure "permanent" instead of the typical clasp.
Can I still take it off if I need to?
Yes! If you ever need to remove it (for medical reasons, travel, or just a change of heart), you can simply snip it off on the jump ring. We can always re-weld it later.
How long does it last?
That’s up to you. With proper care, your piece can last for years. It’s designed to keep up with your everyday life – showers, workouts, and all.
Is it really waterproof?
No shady business here. We use high-quality materials like 14k gold filled and .925 sterling silver, which are made to last, wear when you swim or shower and safe for sensitive skin.
What if it breaks or I want to resize?
Life happens. If your chain breaks at the weld site, we’ll fix it for you. If it breaks elsewhere, we’ll take a look and find the best solution to get you sparkling again. We also offer one complimentary reweld if you’d like a resize.
Do I need an appointment or is it walk-in?
All of our pop-up events are walk-in — first come, first served, no appointment necessary. For a more curated experience, we also offer specialty appointment days in-studio.
Can I buy one online if I can’t make an event?
Yes, you can still get your sparkle fix! We offer select pieces online that ship straight to you — perfect if you're not local, or your schedule's doing the most. Permanent jewelry does require an in-person weld, but our online options give you that same elevated look, just with a custom clasp instead.
Will it set off a metal detector?
Highly unlikely, babe. Our pieces are delicate and lightweight, so metal detectors barely notice them — you'll breeze through security with your sparkle fully intact.
How do i care for my jewelry?
If your chain or charms become dirty, you can rinse your jewelry in warm water and clean with a soft bristle tooth brush and dish soap. A jewelry polishing cloth can help restore shine, especially on sterling silver chains.
